HVAC and energy

Your home is too hot in summer, the hot water is slow to arrive, or you want to generate electricity from the roof. We install air conditioning, hot-water systems and photovoltaic solar panels, test the equipment in operation and handle the electrical connection and registration with DGEG, the Portuguese energy authority.

Who it’s for

We install heating, ventilation, air conditioning and energy systems in new and existing homes:

  • A home with no pipework or wiring in place for air conditioning
  • An old electric water heater to replace with a heat pump
  • A roof with good sun for photovoltaic panels
  • A new build with heating, ventilation and air conditioning in the design

What’s included

Your proposal sets out the equipment, installation and connection work:

  • Multi-split air conditioning: pipework and wiring run in advance (first fix), and unit installation
  • Copper pipework, condensate drains and ductwork
  • Mechanical ventilation
  • Domestic hot water from a heat pump
  • Thermosiphon solar thermal systems for hot water
  • Electric water heaters
  • Photovoltaics: monocrystalline panels and mounting
  • Cabling, connection and registration with DGEG

How we work in this specialism

How we apply our method to this specialism, in four steps. Every proposal starts with a site visit or a review of your drawings.

  1. Site visit and diagnosis

We assess your roof’s orientation, the consumer unit (fuse board) and the pipework routes.

  2. Itemised proposal

You receive separate sections for air conditioning and ventilation, hot water and photovoltaic panels, with quantities.

  3. Installation and testing

We install the pipework, drains and cables, then test each unit in operation.

  4. Handover and registration

We complete the electrical connection and register the photovoltaic system with DGEG. The statutory warranty applies.

What we deliver

At handover, you receive the tested systems and the records of the installation:

  • Equipment installed and tested in operation
  • A dedicated electrical supply, tested
  • Your photovoltaic system registered with DGEG
  • As-built drawings showing the installed pipework and cabling
  • Statutory warranty

FAQ

Your questions about this specialism. The specific terms are always in your proposal and written contract.

Can I prepare for air conditioning now and fit the units later?

Yes. We run the copper pipework, condensate drains and cabling during the works, ready for the units to be fitted later.

Will you register my photovoltaic system?

Yes. We include the electrical connection and registration with DGEG.

Which hot-water system is right for my home?

That depends on your consumption, the space available and the sun on your roof. We propose a heat pump, thermosiphon solar thermal system or electric water heater, and explain the differences in your proposal.
